Abstract

Minimal Art is a post-modern movement that aims to reduce the distance between art and life by freeing the artist from tools, allowing them to discover themselves and the world directly. Simplicity emerged as a reaction against exaggerated forms and abstract expressive claims, focusing on the essence of abstraction and the search for pure beauty while reducing technique and complexity. The artist reduces their work to achieve a clean and pure structure based on the simplicity of shape, color, and the prominence of the main idea.
The exhibition "Where?" was held by the researcher in Amman, Jordan in 2018 at Gallery Orfaly. The question posed at the exhibition was "If animals become extinct, will the earth end?" The exhibition's name reflects this question, highlighting the strong and multifaceted relationship between humans and animals throughout history, both of which are essential to life.
The main theme of the exhibition was centered on the question of what happens when someone disappears and where life's manifestations will lead us. In this analysis, we will discuss some of the outstanding sculptural works featured in the exhibition.
