Abstract

In the depths of history, humans have diligently carved giant statues as an artistic expression blending creativity and engineering. These works have transformed into prominent symbols carrying within them the language of cultures and civilizations. Over the ages, these statues have evolved from mere representations of beings to expressions of identity and the cultural spirit of societies. They also constitute artistic and historical creativity that inspires people and captures attention. These monumental artworks carry diverse symbols and stories, whether historical, religious, or cultural, making them a notable part of the global scene. Building these massive statues takes many years and significant resources, usually dedicated to important figures or representing religious figures that played a significant role in history. Ultimately, the purpose of building each statue varies according to the cultural, historical, and religious context of the place where it is erected. The research presents some examples that have contributed to a significant leap in cultural tourism, making sculpture an important tool for tourism promotion. Sculpture has become increasingly popular and interactive with the public in recent years, through developments in form and size, contributing to tourist attraction with various goals, often involving challenges in engineering and artistic creativity, as they are used as a means of expressing creativity and artistic skills.
