CHARACTERISTICS OF KINETIC TYPOGRAPHY IN THE CREDITS OF CINEMATIC TITLE SEQUENCES

Abstract

The technical progress that the world has witnessed in the past few decades has helped to break into new artistic horizons, by creating an atmosphere of dazzle in cinematic performances as a whole. One of the most important of these is the title sequences of film genres, the implementation of which made it possible to add a strong impact on the viewer, making it impossible to embody the ideas of the filmmakers without resorting to the title sequences in their films. The research aims to introduce the relationship of kinetic typography to the appropriations of title sequences and their impact on the viewer, and to study the historical stages of typography and its development throughout the ages, the criteria for choosing between its different styles. The research follows the descriptive analytical approach based. The research ends with results and recommendations that clarify the importance of kinetic printing.
