THE IMPACT OF HISTORY AND EVENTS ON THE WORK OF GRAPHIC ARTISTS “UKRAINE AS A MODEL”

Abstract

History and events have a great impact on people’s lives, politically, socially, and culturally. In the field of arts, events and history represent an important factor and a source of inspiration and creativity for generations of artists around the world. In ukraine, the various arts are characterized by a special character, influenced by many factors, including what distinguishes ukrainian heritage and folklore. It has distinctive and special heritage features and characteristics, and its important location between the east and the west played an important role in bringing together different cultural influences that had a great impact on the culture and arts in it, and the plastic arts were the best expression of that specificity, including the graphic arts, as the works of many were characterized by graphic artists have a style that combines the expression of ukrainian history, environment, heritage, architecture and culture, and the expression of various historical and contemporary events, including wars and revolutions, and how artists expressed their events over decades until now, leading to the wars and conflict that recently broke out between russia and ukraine. All of these events had a significant impact on the work of ukrainian artists, especially graphic artists.
