AESTHETIC VALUES OF PORCELAIN MATERIALS IN SUSTAINABLE INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE

Abstract

The research discusses the possibility of applying the concept of sustainability in the internal architectural activity, as it is considered one of the most depleting human activities for non-renewable environmental resources in order to meet the needs of the present while preserving the right of future generations to energy sources and natural materials, as the concept of sustainability is not an innovative or new term, but rather a concept embodied by heritage architecture since ancient times through the interconnected experimental compatibility with the environment and the efficient exploitation of natural environmental resources.
The use of ceramic ore is one of the most important materials suitable for interior architecture and it has an aesthetic that makes it suitable to develop many innovative Pottry designs both stereotyped and flat, it is one of the most suitable materials associated with interior architecture since the dawn of history for environmental resistance. Ceramics also enjoy many cosmetic and color aesthetics, and are considered to be low-priced ores It is readily available and has many manual and industrial forming methods, as well as the variety and characteristics of the mud used and these multiple features of ceramics make it a destination for interior architecture designers to take advantage of in architectural spaces.
