Building societies is based on education in all its forms, stages and effectiveness in the behaviors and lives of individuals, the completion of the role of both basic education stage and role of sustainable development processes requires the preparation of the educational environment to achieve their respective goals. So, we need to have a sustainable school building.
Therefore, the research aims to promote the idea of a sustainable school by identifying the main terms related to education projects for sustainable development, and these are some of the most important factors for success of preparing the sustainable school, finally reach a set of criteria and standards to evaluate the sustainable school, and a set of evaluation results of some study cases and comparison among them in order to check with sustainable environmental assessment standards. This allows for the formulation of design and planning guidelines, which supports and promotes the idea of a sustainable school.
